Photography is my passion and I love sharing this passion with others.

I have focused this intense energy towards shooting people. For me, capturing special moments in people’s lives is what photography is all about. I hope that my photos will be passed on from generation to generation and kept as treasured memories.

My personal journey started at university working in a photo lab - being able to print my own photos was amazing. Of course, this was before the existence of the impressive digital camera. Right from the moment of getting my first digital SLR I have never looked back.

Wedding photography became an interest after going to many, many weddings I found myself gravitating up the back chatting with the photographer, analysing the best shot. Since this, I have had the privilege of capturing several wedding days, and along with experiencing the unique spirit and emotion of the day, my technique been refined in every one.

Portraiture photography has also extended my love for the human subject. Taking thousands of photos of my first son when he was born sparked a thirst to refine my technique, which wore the camera out completely! Never shy of an excuse to add to my equipment collection, several cameras later I am enjoying shooting subjects of all ages.

Melbourne is my home base, and I am happy to travel within the greater Melbourne region. Having grown up in Portland I am more than happy to shoot in this region as well as around the picturesque Stawell and Halls Gap.
